Python interpretation stopped happening on Friday - programs will not execute on green arrow nor from menu.
All other navigation and file save/creation fine.
Thought it was just me, but all my students impacted too. Have ruled out local firewall as same behaviour on home network.
I can’t see any service status interuptions.
Any ideas??
I am experinencing the same issue. Not sure when it started, but not working today
Same here, and I have students experiencing the same thing. I have tried in multiple instances and web browsers. @moderators Any thoughts?
Thank you for reporting this. We also now see the issue and are looking into it, we will post an update once we have a solution or work-around available

Sincere apologies for the disruption. This appears to be a marketplace issue affecting all VS Code customers (Some extensions that are available on the Marketplace are showing up as "no longer available" · Issue #269737 · microsoft/vscode · GitHub ). The Marketplace team has a fix and are working to get it released asap. Apologies again. We will be monitoring status and will let everyone know when it’s resolved.
