# Getting Started with Visual Studio Code for Education

In this workshop, you will learn how to use Visual Studio Code for Education to help you teach computer science to your students. You will discover how Visual Studio Code for Education provides a curriculum and coding tools that make it easy for students to start coding in various languages, such as Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and more. By the end of this session, you will be able to set up Visual Studio Code for Education in your classroom, create and manage coding projects, create your own coding activities and guide your students to become confident and creative developers.
